Fishing

Players take turns tossing bean bags onto a platform that is 6-8 feet away, in an attempt to get the bag through a small hole carved in the platform. You can find cornhole games on the beach or at some of the local beach shops.

Bocce Ball 


When it comes to beach activities, the less equipment and setup required, the better. This is why people in San Felipe love Bocce Ball because it only requires eight bocci balls. Players draw a shooting circle in the sand and stand inside to start the game. A white ball is tossed out into the middle of the playing area, and players take turns throwing their colored balls and throw a target white ball. Players earn points by getting closest to the white target ball. 
The great thing about bocce ball is that games can last as long or as short as you want. You can play a quick game during a lunch break, or you can play until the sun goes down.

A bocce ball set. This includes eight different colored balls and a smaller, white target ball.

Clamming

Simply wash them with fresh water, place them into a pot, add some salt and start cooking them with some seasoning.

There are so many ways to experience the beachfront lifestyle in San Felipe. To add some thrill to your stay, consider going for a ride on one of the inflatable bananas or sombreros towed by a speed boat.  During the busy seasons, you can hail boat captains towing the inflatables from most of the beachfront communities. But when not too busy, your best bet is to head to the San Felipe Malecon and enjoy a ride from there.  If you like to turn up the adrenaline, ask the boat captain to try knock you and your friends of the inflatable.  You will all be wearing life vests, so it is safe.

Swimsuit or cloths you don't mind getting wet.  Waterproof camera...best would be a go-pro as you're going to get some video shots you don't want to miss. A good grip to hold on to the inflatable.

You can rent one from one of the local shops or have one added to your San Felipe vacation rental reservation.

Before you ride you'll need to sign a waiver and a safety contract. To enjoy an ATV on your first day of vacation, have one added to your San Felipe vacation rental reservation so it's waiting for you at your rental home when you arrive.

You can launch the jet ski from a couple of spots, but we recommend to launch this from the Port of San Felipe whiich is a few miles South of town. There is a well maintained ramp to lower your jet ski into thw water and fun way to spend the entire day or just a few hours cruising through the calm waters of the Sea of Cortez.

Jet Ski.  We recommend to bring yours if you can.
