Visit the Mexican wine country of Valle de Guadalupe on a 12-hour tour from San Felipe, known for boutique wineries, gourmet food, and stunning vineyard views.
Each trip includes three wineries (may vary by date), guided tastings, behind-the-scenes winery experiences, and a relaxed, social day in Baja’s premier wine region.

What to Expect on the Valle de Guadalupe Wine Tour
I’ve done a lot of wine tastings in different regions, and Valle de Guadalupe is honestly just fun.
With the San Felipe Wine Express, our goal is to provide a relaxed, social setting for anyone curious about wine, from beginners to enthusiasts, who want a great experience without it ever feeling stiff or rushed.
We'll be cross the Baja peninsula from the Sea of Cortez to the rolling vineyards of Valle de Guadalupe, passing through the scenic Sierra de Juárez.
One of my favorite parts is the tractor hay ride through the vineyards. It’s a fun, laid-back way to take in the scenery, snap photos, and ease into the day before the tastings even begin. It really sets the tone for what’s ahead.
From there, we enjoy guided tastings at a comfortable pace, sampling a mix of refreshing whites, smooth reds, and a few more elevated, barrel-aged wines. Everything is explained in an approachable way, so whether you’re just getting into wine or already love it, it’s easy to follow and enjoyable.
We also step into wine cellars and barrel rooms, which brings the experience full circle. Tasting wine surrounded by barrels just hits different. Occasionally, there are pairings like chocolates or small bites, adding an extra interactive and fun element.
You sip, you learn, you laugh, you take great photos — and you leave with a deeper appreciation for Baja wine and a really memorable day.
Sample Itinerary for the Day
- 7:30–7:55 AM: Check-in & meet Dyan
- 8:00 AM: Depart San Felipe
- Late morning: Winery tasting #1
- Midday (Stop #2): Vineyard hay ride + tasting, then 1.5 hours to explore on your own and grab lunch (at your own expense)
- Afternoon: Winery tasting #3
- Evening: Return to San Felipe
